STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
In Thailand, the deficiencies of educational resources for curriculum evaluation are critical problem. Educators tend to rely on the evaluated curriculums using the data resources that have been translated from other languages, English mostly, which in the midst of this process can arise the various problems, the mistranslation, the lack of understanding in the content of translator, the recentness of data, for example. Due to the fact that the relevant people in curriculum evaluation lack the resources that can collect information systematically and correctly, it affects to the quality of evaluation method and, finally, the quality of curriculum itself.
Therefore, as an Education and Instruction researcher, we would like to conduct a research in which collecting and analyzing the relevant content in curriculum evaluation including to maintain the advantage of open educational resources, entitled “Open Educational Resources for Foreign Language Education on Curriculum Evaluation” in order to augment the understanding in curriculum evaluation process and the opportunity for foreign language teacher in Thailand to access and manage the auto-educational resources without time and place restrictions.
